These terms apply to products and services bought from the Majota Consulting online shop at shop.majotaconsulting.co.za, operated by Majota Consulting (PTY) Ltd (registration 2013/109193/07), 7257 Anise Street, Lotus Gardens, Pretoria, 0008. Contact: info@majotaconsulting.co.za, +27 71 493 5156.
1. Orders and payment
- Prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR). All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and billed monthly.
- Payments are processed by Paystack. We never see or store your card details.
- Your order is confirmed once payment has been received. We will contact you to finalise set-up.
2. Monthly subscriptions (hosting and managed websites)
- Hosting and managed website packages are billed monthly in advance. By subscribing you authorise us, through Paystack, to charge your card each month until you cancel.
- You may cancel at any time by emailing info@majotaconsulting.co.za. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month already paid for; no further charges will be made.
- If a monthly payment fails, we will contact you. Services may be suspended if payment remains outstanding for 7 days, and removed after 30 days.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' written notice. You may cancel before the new price applies.
3. Managed websites (MC WebStudio)
- The 48-hour delivery time starts once we have received all your content (text, images and logo).
- The listed price covers the number of pages and features stated on the package. Additional pages or features are quoted separately before any work is done.
- Monthly maintenance hours that are not used do not carry over to the next month.
4. Hosting and domains
- "Unlimited" web traffic is subject to fair usage. Accounts that affect the performance of other customers may be asked to upgrade.
- Domain registration fees are separate from hosting and are confirmed with you before registration. Domains are registered in your name.
- Hosting may not be used for unlawful content, spam or malware. We may suspend accounts that breach this.
- We take regular server backups, but you remain responsible for keeping your own copy of your website and email content.
5. Refunds
- If you cancel within 7 days of your first payment and we have not yet set up your service, we will refund you in full.
- Once a hosting account has been set up or website work has started, the current month is not refundable. Partial months are not refunded.
- If we cannot provide the service you paid for, we will refund you in full.
- Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
6. Privacy (POPIA)
- We collect your name, email address, phone number, company name and domain only to process your order, provide the service, bill you and contact you about your account.
- Payment information is handled by Paystack under its own privacy policy and security standards.
- We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties, except service providers needed to deliver your order (such as our hosting and domain providers) or where the law requires it.
- You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing info@majotaconsulting.co.za.
7. Liability
We work to keep services available and secure, but we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits, caused by downtime or events beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim.
